Default Interfund Transfer 5/12/08 for 5/13/08

I normally only make 2 or 3 transactions per year in this hypothetical long-term inactive account, and I think now is a good time for me to make one of them.

I will take advantage of the recent rally, and today's strength, to lighten up on the stock funds.

    Effective COB 5/12/08:

    Old allocation: 50% C, 25% S, 25% I

    New allocation 40% G, 30% C, 15% S and 15% I.

The returns sheet will be updated tonight (5/12) http://www.tsptalk.com/returns/returns2.html

Your new allocation is very close to my actual TSP allocation so I'll be interested to see how this account does for the next while!

My spreadsheets are designed to stress diversification and longer term commitments, rather than short in and out hops. Now with the IFT stranglehold, I'm kind of glad that's my focus!

In this long-term, inactive account 40% G is almost as defensive as it will get. Possibly 50%. This is not what I do with my account however, as I am more of an all of nothing investor/trader.
