Why not leave some in the C?
Why not leave some in the C?
Welcome Systolic!
The S fund has been outperforming the C fund lately so I'll go where the strength is for this one day "gamble". I should be back to more of a split on Tuesday (assuming the market doesn't take a dive Monday).
I call it a gamble but it is actually based on historical and seasonal data.
Why no money in the I fund? It's lead them all YTD and this month, too?? 4.96% for the year and 2.81% this month

Hopefully, you will get some carry through. Next week should be volatile.
I had initially said I would only make that move if the market was down at the deadline. Since I have to make my decision about a half hour earlier so I canget out the email alerts and update the message board, I had to make a decision if the move in the Dow from up 40 to up only 18, at the time, was going to mean the market was losing steam and was going to close down. I decided that it was probably going to be a get out before the weekend sell off as we got closer to the close and decided to make the move. Turns out I was right...for once. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Darn... I pulled 100%out of the S Fund 1 day too early. :? It was up about9 cents on Friday. Oh well, live & learn. At least I didn't lose anything since I went 100% G.
God Bless

And now, back to interest rates![]()

The market opened greeeeeeen,I hope keep it like that
I went 100% S a few hours ago. Am I going to get in on today, or do I have to wait till tomorrow?
I was 100% G.
