I would just post the exact date and time (Eastern Time!!) of the interfund transfer.

    For example 20G, 20F, 30C, 30I @ 11:47 AM ET on mm/dd/yy

This way EVERYONEknows WHENthe interfund transfer order was put in.It is then an easy matter to figure out what the effective date is.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... This is the best and easiest format to track. There is no second guessing when you made your move.Once trackers see that the move went beyond 12:00 et, it is automatically assumed that the move or eft was done the following day (this also works with the weekend). If this is implemented, you'll make the trackers job easier.

I also recommend not to put "effective date." Alot of us have a different perception of what effective date means. Another reason this is a good format is because trackers will automatically follow this date as your last day from your last allocation.

    Just my .02 cents :^

My numbers are just not tracking the same.

    For January I had -3.86%

    For February I had +1.14

Coolhand, you are right... I've readjusted your tracker and sending a copy to fundsurfer. The discrepancies between yours and mine are allocation changes for 1/23/05 and 2/7/05. Sorry for the discrepancies.

I agree completely. I like that format. Actually, I have been going by the posted date. If it is posted by 1pm I have assumed it to be effective COB of that day. If it is posted later in the day then it is COB of the next day. There were a couple people who I didn't track cause they would post about 4-5 pm that they had made a trade that day.

I'm glad Pyriel found the error, I was just fixing to pull it up. I figured it would be something like that. Just shows you how much difference a day can make sometimes.
