Thread: TALLY January 2005

Sorry it took so long to post this. I'm just back from vacation. THANKS PYRIEL for the help getting this together.

I started keeping track of a few people I know are faithfully posting there moves. I like to see how people are doing. You should not use just this post to judge how people are doing totally befacuse we don't have a long track record yet. As an example, TSP-Tom is doing very well since October but he had a very bad July/August. The moves column should give you a good idea of how aggressively each participant moves their money between funds.

I got these numbers using the post from each account talk list. If you are a regular poster but I missed you it was because I either felt you were not posting regularly and had quit or you were not posting in the right place. To make this tally you must have been posting in an account prior to 12/31/04. Looks like we'll have several new members added to the list next month.

(Milk2 has been e-mailing me his moves prior to each days deadline. I know there are several out there interested in how his new system is doing.)

Zbwmy and DrD are long term buy and hold which is whythey had 0 moves.

Can someone post the monthly totals for each of the funds for Nov-Jan? I meant to do this but forgot.

Extras:

Pogo: Post in only a single thread to get into the Tally. You seem to start an new thread for each of your transactions.

Dave: Several of your post showed moves weeks prior to the deadline. The way this works is trades have to be posted in your account prior to deadline (or shortly there after, we'll give a couple hours of grace period) or e-mail TSPTalk prior to deadline. Otherwise your trades could be seen as Monday morning quarterbacking.

Spaf: When you going to start an account? You post your moves all but just not in a single account thread.

I changed the way I calculate totals this time based on comments recieved last month. Totals are from COB last day of the month to COB of the last day of the next month.
