Default Anyone watching the AT race?

I enjoy a good race. Whether its fast cars, boats, horses, runners, skaters, skiers, etc, there is a lot of drama when it's close at the finish line. For months JMoody has had a lead in the AT, and it was in the 2-4% for quite awhile, after he passed up remark. For a long time those have been the only two to be ahead of the S Fund and all of the folks who wisely stayed in that fund all year.

But JMoody moved to the sidelines several weeks ago and in the first half of Dec his win looked certain. Now, with the Santa Claus rally, remark was just 0.15% behind last time I looked. We could even see a lead change today, with only 3 more trading days left in the year. I've been watching closely to see if JMoody jumps back in to preserve the lead, but it may be too late now. And if you are in JMoody's spot you have to consider that you may jump in and see the market fall a bit, so there are no guarantees when it gets this close. They are both winners, of course, but this is another reason that the AT is fun. These are the folks I want to watch and learn from anyway so the close finish is icing on the cake.

I've been watching that too....I thought it was a wrap by the 15th, but remark's intestinal fortitude is reaping some rewards....But really, I just can't believe the returns this year!!
THIS IS WHERE I WOULD PUT SOMETHING TO REPRESENT MY THINKING, BUT THEN THEY SHOW UP!

Been watching from the 3rd Quintile - yuk. Not used to being there...
Still, got to be sporting about it Chap...

Rooting for JMoody and Remark because at least those two are churning their accounts for a bit of Alpha. Hard to beat sitting in the 'S Fund' this year. Then again, you could be like me and spend way too much time in the Garage Fund.
Lookin' up at the 'G Fund'!!!

    Today is the day

I don't know if the market closes early or not, but right now I show the S Fund gaining around 0.40%, which will hand the win to remark and bump JMoody down to 19th!

JMoody will end the year either number 1, 2 or 19th ..... what a year for all of the leaders. Congratulations!

True, they are all big winners and where they finish in the rankings is just for fun. Many people in the auto tracker have reason to make an extra toast tonight.

One of the great things about this website is seeing these great achievers and realizing that i could and should do better. Never get complacent, always look for ways to improve.

Wow! Any one of these folks could sell a service and get lots of subscribers.

Mug or no mug, the parting gift (gains) is fantastic. Congrats to all involved and thanks for providing a little excitement down the stretch.
