Thread: TSP Poker Club

    Default TSP Poker Club

you are invited to join a private tsp poker club 'home game'.

legal and disclaimer: this is not sanctioned or operated by tsptalk. it involves no real money. it is for points and bragging rights, not cash. there are no transactions or deposits. it is a group of friends and forum members who may meet to play cards online and match wits or luck.

all that is needed is to download pokerstars.net software (250mb), create an account (username, email, password) and that is it. then you click the 'home games' icon on the right hand side of the menu and enter the club id and invite code. pm me here with an email address for club id and invite code and link to download.

the tentative plan is to offer weekly or monthly tournaments as a 'season' and track who wins most. also i think side games for single table tournaments or ring games might be available if there is demand.

also i should warn you, i am going to take all your chips.

I know me, burro, Tom, and JP are players (poker); hopefully there are others here. It's cool playing online players from across the globe; but it is much more satisfying to beat the ones you know.

Last time I played poker for real stakes, it was for sticks of gum. I may have to give some thought to participating in this opportunity, see if I do any better. Sounds like fun could be had.

For those concerned about giving your email address or metadata to burro or the poker site, I use and recommend:

33Mail.com - Simple free disposable email address service, unlimited free disposable anonymous email addresses

or you could just reply with your regular hot.mail address either way, they already know everything they need to know about you anyways, who cares if you play pretend money poker on the side?

goldammit! i wish some serious folks would join already because i am dang freakin tired of some jerkwad sucking out on the river with a suited 5 10 against my pair of jacks. you have to wait for an hour before the site gives you more free pretend chips and it is pissing me the hell off!
