This weeks results below. Note that PokerStars split a KO between evil and stu, in which the hand was a split pot. I gave it to Stu because he had more chips the evil. I'm not going to do split KOs. Would not be worth the effort. Especially considering Gata is the only other person that tracks KOs anyway

    Date: 10/15/17
    Prize: $3,000

I have no idea who knocked me out... it was so sad! I cried all night but I know you don't even care...
Just "heartless"! Actually, I noticed that since I did not play during the Summer... you all really have upped your game... or at least I hope that is what it is ... lol

I've noticed each of you are either evil, crazy cold, or have sharp somethings... like sharp teeth or claws. I am not sure I want to play with you all anymore! I think you all must have found a better sharpening salon. I guess I need to see a "specialist" to get over it ! See you this coming Sunday.... I've decided I am going to be absolutely RUTHLESS.. meaner than all of you put together...

And Iiiiiii, am going to study up again on strategery I've gotten out of practice at practicing. I waz doin better when I was consciously using aspects of strategy that I thought I had gotten a grip on. Annnnnd I'm going to study more on proper bet sizing and pot odds. I knowww I haven't mastered those concepts yet.

“Pole Sports is a performance sport combining dance and acrobatics on a vertical pole,” writes the GAISF on its website.

“Pole Sports requires great physical and mental exertion, strength and endurance are required to lift, hold and spin the body. A high degree of flexibility is needed to contort, pose, demonstrate lines and execute techniques.”

read sklansky. this is a good primer.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_strategy

The relationship between pot odds and odds of winning is one of the most important concepts in poker strategy. Pot odds are the ratio of the size of the pot to the size of the bet required to stay in the pot.[1] For example, if a player must call $10 for a chance to win a $40 pot (not including their $10 call), their pot odds are 4-to-1. To have a positive expectation, a player's odds of winning must be better than their pot odds. If the player's odds of winning are also 4-to-1 (20% chance of winning), their expected return is to break even (on average, losing four times and winning once for every five times they play such a pot).
as fate would have it, a four flush draw on the flop has about a 4-1 chance of hitting (open straight draws 5-1, gut shot straight draws 10-1, trips worse than that on a draw - see definition of "outs"). do the math. if in the "long run" it will cost a person more than they are likely to win, then they should not call. if they can get in "cheap" at 2-1 odds minimum bet or half pot bet with 4-1 odds on hitting the hand, then you see a nail so hammer it, double up. i don't know a simpler way to explain it.

sometimes you will lose, but more often than not "in the long run" you will win if you understand the math. also you can bend the odds with educated experience and history with some opponents if you can spot patterns (jedi mindtrick). or else it's all just magic and luck. also you can talk crap or make opponents horny or laugh, these are good skills to have.

there is no love in poker. it is all about the chips.

once you understand what is or is not profitable for you to call with, then you can begin to offer opponents unfavorable odds with your bets based on your known hand and their likely range of hands, ideally combined with relatively sure "reads" on them. this is the essence of poker.

it is a bully sport. or as dba calls it "aaaagressive".
