Default The Day I Bought 100 Shares of Facebook

Today is a red letter day for me.

    I bought Facebook stock today.

    Scary, unsettled, uncertain.

So, everyone knows I bought at $20.00.

I placed the order to buy @ 20.00 - two months ago.

    Today's the day!

could be profitable if it fills that monster gap lol. i was thinking about that play myself, but i don't have the balls lol

either that, or my dislike for zuckerberg prevents me from ever hoping their company does well. good luck though man

What is your plan? Is this an investment or trade? Im not a fan of FB stock at any price but that is what makes the market. May all your arrows be green.

When FB originally announced that they were going public, I laughed. My wife on the other hand said she thought it would be a great investment for the kids because it was a company they were familiar with and wouldn't it be fun to see how it would grow with their generation.

So, based more on the standpoint of a science/economic experience, we decided what would be a good price, fair price, and affordable price.

We placed our order through Ameritrade.

Anyway, to answer what this is experiment is: Investment.

Also, I plan on using it a little to re-initiate my trust in my knowledge by researching the way it performs with the rest of the market.

    Peace!

If you've got faith in progress it's time to double down - a little pain is positive for investor development.

I like it for valuation - they will make money some day, but technically it's a wreck and I have been burned bottom fishing too many times. I'll wait for a better technical setup, even if that means buying at a higher price. Something I learned from RevShark.

It's just sad how the average investor got sucked into the hype. It's still over hyped and apple is close behind.

I bought housing stocks back in 2009 when they were on their backs like dead cockroaches - but have they finally turned giving me some nice profits. I don't plan to sell them for several more years when the Dow is approaching 20,000.

Just think about all the poor average investors who bought in at the top when the hype was at its highest.

I hope they'll return so I can have someone to sell to in the future - it may be the Chinese this cycle.
