    That price point is going to be tough anywhere in San Diego, much less the beach area. I'd recommend looking in Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Valley, or Escondido. The commute will be shorter and the beach isn't that far away.

    That said, here is a website I pulled up for the heck of it. Looks like there was one in Pacific Beach that might fit the bill. It's the listing on Grand Avenue. Good luck.

    Thanks I'll check it out. He's a young single guy so a small apartment is ok with him. Prices are high!
