I think it would be overkill for just TSP.

I realize it being overkill for just TSP but with other investments maybe. But what I was wondering is there anything cheaper?

Yes! If you go with a reputable internet broker they will give you a free trading platform, plus research, charts, etc. You can upgrade to an advanced platform for a fee. If I was a big time trader I would look into Tradestation, but they charge $99.99 a month to use their system, plus a charge for trades, plus the difference between the "ask" and "bid" price of the stock. When you sell a stock you have to let it settle out for a few days, otherwise you could have a violation of the "free ride rule". Etc....Etc.

    As an option:
Take the $100 and go to Wal-Mart
    Get thin cut rib-eye steaks
    Artisan garlic bread
Dice up some onion, lettuce, tomato and pickle.
Marinade steaks in worchestershire, A-1, and Soy for 30 minutes
    Fire up the grill
Grill the steaks and toast the buns.
Add the condiments as you like!
    And....don't forget the beer!

Try a little DALE's Marinade for the steaks, I like it better than most, but not too much, it's strong stuff!!! Oh and I like to cook them over mesquite, Great Stuff!!
