Default Feedback - Tweaking the Home Page

    Hi everyone -

I have been playing back and forth with the home page design over the last several weeks/months and wanted to get some feedback / input.

    - Does it look too "busy" / Should it be simplified?
    - Does it need more info?
    - Do you like the new links to market/economy news?
    - Did the sitemap page help at all?
    - Are you finding what you need, when you need it?
    - Is there something you'd like to see that is not there?
    - Is there something there that you feel is unnecessary (sorry, the ads have to be there somewhere )
    - Is there a design or feature that you see on the internet somewhere else that you like and might like to see incorporated into TSP Talk?
    - etc.

As the designer, webmaster, and constant viewer of the pages, I have become so used to it that it is almost invisible to me. I want it to be the hub for the site to help direct you to where you want to go, or to get info to help you make any quick decisions, but I don't want it to be so busy that it loses its effectiveness.

Any comments and/or suggestions will be very helpful and seriously considered.

I'll be glad to send T-shirts, mugs or signed copies of Revshark's new book to anyone who makes a major suggestion that I use on the site.

Post suggestions / comments here, email me, or send PM.

    Thanks in advance!
    Tom

Looking for some "Fresh Eyes" ,, Gotcha!
Give me a day or two and I'll try to help.
My thoughts of future market events are strictly my gut feelings and have nothing
to do with actual knowledge or experience concerning the Stock Market or Investing.

    Dear Tom,
I love your homepage, but change is a universal constant, so if you want to change your site, I'll continue to visit. I tell everyone I work with about how wonderful it is, but more than that, it's so open-hearted of you to create this site on behalf of your co-workers.

Thanks Claire. It's not so much that I want to change the site, but I will gladly make changes if people seem to want to see something that I am not providing, or if they are having trouble navigating to the pages they want to view, etc.

I also want to know what people want to see, and what they can do without.

    Thanks again for the feedback!
    Tom
