Woo hooo.... on to week #3!!!
whew, that was close. at least both pittsburg and baltimore are out of my stable now and i don't have to worry about racing with those horses again. two dirty teams and i got through the 2nd week of the season now having bet on both of them. i hope they lose every game from here on out. jerks.

oh this minnesota butterfingers defense is frustrating, cause 3 fumbles and can't pick even 1 of them up, and the pass interference lack of discipline on #26 tray wanes is really frustrating. sit down and cut your hair son. they might as well all be playing with seal flippers on.

Just gotta say that this week's slate of games stinks for a Survival Pool! Even the "obvious" choices are iffy!
Ron Popeil (Set it, and forget it!) wasn't talking about the TSP!
I think we've had some bad week 3's. Some big upsets in the past. Will it happen again?

i am going with miami over cleveland i think, because well, they're the cleveland browns. and also because of sir isaac newtown and the whole uniform motion concept "an object at rest remains at rest" thing and they've been resting now for about two decades or so. i forget for how long but then that starts to get into time and the theory of relativity and i'm no einstien.
i thought long and hard about about seattle or green bay for picks this week, but i'm trying to get through the early parts of the season without calling in the big guns. gonna save them for later if i don't lose this week.
also i want so bad to pick eagles over steelers but i am saving them for week 15 or so when i plan to dance on ravensfan's grave after i take his rye whiskey in week 9.
i hope the steelers defense don't tear the rookie wentz in half this week. i hope philly sticks it in big bad ben's soft bum and breaks it off. but not enough to but on it, yet.
good luck all.

uh oh, i see almost half of the remaining field in the tsptalk pool took miami too... if there ever was a day ripe for a massive upset, this could be it. my local channels are showing the vikings/panthers and broncos/bengals so i will have to just catch updates here and there to see how this shakes out.
the philly game will be on later so i am pumped up for that.

oh fog, you picked a dog this week, hate to see you go but love to watch you leave.
on the other hand, i picked the miami mahi mahi's and they fumbled with 20 seconds left for overtime with the dingdangole cleveland browns the cleveland browns! in fieldgoal range! oh fork. just when you think you got florida figured out they go and do something totally unpredictable. kuh frikkin kuhrap!

dang you miami, thank you football gods, but you made me miss the start of the philly/pitt game, and for that i will never forgive you.
