Default I Fund for October 2009

Thursday EAFE final of -$0.3282
plus Thursday FV (previous day) of +$0.0000 = -$0.3282
minus Thursday FV (guess) of -$0.1000 = -$0.4282

I'm still a bit risk averse to jumping in now. I'll wait a bit longer, but the 2% loss looks tempting. I'm still guessing, but I think the stock funds may still shed some value in the coming week. The market still feels a bit jittery.

I fund hit the doldrums in March, with a value under 32. I hope we don't see a repeat of this, but I'm not too optimistic during October. It's a period of high market volatility, historically. I'm not waiting for another Black Friday, but I'll be on the sidelines for a bit longer.

My loss, probably.

Perhaps you are correct.

The 9 cents in question is the 1/2% that was floating for a few days. I dropped it, but the 21 cents FV is a little high so I added the 9 cents FV back again. Hopefully we can see if it is 21 cent or 12 cents FV soon.
