I have an account with Forex.com UK and I haven't seen anything on this. I read the site above. So, is there a brokerage fixing to implode? Or, does the NFA just want to get rid of trading currencies in the US?

Thanks,

Steve

I got the notice yesterday, so you will see it soon. I don't think a brokerage is in danger of imploding. I'm thinking a small country? I really don't know.

I just posted a blog with our top 25% charts. It could be an indicator to watch.

WOW!!

I didn't know he said that -- gosh I didn't even know he had any.

He's always reminded me of my father to some extent.. now all the more.

That reminds me -- I'm in the process of redoing my will and in the event something happens to my whole family....

I want 50% to go to something Majorly Pro Earth -- and have no idea what to say?

Any ideas --- on anything that would promote the health of our Planet??

I don't have any grandchildren yet - but I'm always future oriented. Time is the best indicator for investing. I remember when I was in my early twenties I opened an account with Chase that allowed me to reinvest dividends. This account was designed for my childrens educational opportunities - and I wasn't even married yet. Think about tomorrow not today. My daughter recently asked me a few investment questions from her MBA program that she didn't understand - in the course of conversation I told her I was going to leave any money I didn't spend to my grandchildren. That's the plan. They'll be adults by the time that rolls around.

Thanks Birch ,
As long as I'm not left in the dark -- I won't have to respond in a violent nature.

Time is the best indicator for investing.

That is certainly one thing that has been proven over and over.

DCA and Buy and Hold !!

I remember when I was in my early twenties...
When you had to walk 4 miles in knee deep snow to get to school...

...when cars didn't have air conditioning .... seat belts...

...when coke really had 'coke'....

Yeah ....trust me I've heard it all before ....

....plus you're not much older than me
and I wasn't even married yet.

One account with Van Guard states: To be distributed to all my Grandchildren Equallly.

Wife and Kids hate it --- cause none are married and have no one to even consider.

Like I told them -- give it time -- when the account really grows to something worthwhile --- it will be there. (I'm not changing it)

Think about tomorrow not today.
Well here I'll say , 'Why in the hell do you have any credit card bills'?

My daughter recently asked me a few investment questions from her MBA program that she didn't understand -
Birch I bet your heart really swelled up with 'pride' when that kind of thing happens. See how things work out in the long run.

in the course of conversation I told her I was going to leave any money I didn't spend to my grandchildren. That's the plan.
Well Birch -- you'd better change that plan. I could care less about leaving a portion to the 'grandkids' ...

But the bulk should go to Buzz

and I want that signed and notorized by the end of next week.

They'll be adults by the time that rolls around.
Well for NOW -- you do what I tell you to do...

when 'that time' rolls around you can always make some changes.

I'm making my changes NOW -- was previously set up that a bunch of my relatives would get the money if something happens to my immediate family...

...no more .... screw that ....

50% is going to something that honestly promotes Nature or the Health of our planet

30% is going toward 'Missions'

20% is going to a Children's Hospital

Well later all -- oh and thanks for thread CH

Buzz says to me - why do people sell out at the bottom? HoneyB, it has to do with the emotions of fear and panic and not having faith in the process. I did use some of my credit card balance availability to dump more dollars into the market last fall - a good use of credit if you ask me. Now I'm in the process of paying it all back with some of my market gains. Everything is going on margin which is tax deductable. I only wish I had an extra $1M to dump down the well - maybe on the next cycle.
