Though I agree the short term is looking better, I'm waiting for a little healthy hesitation waltz before I jump in. I don't like trying to board during a rising tide.![]()
Bears have precious little time to work some magic.
Breakout has been tested and held. A melt up can take place now, which will be unmerciful to shorts.
I must admit, I was expecting a larger coil to form. If this is all the bears can muster they must really on pins and needles.

Okie, dokie. I'm going to up my CSI amount to 9 percent, spread even between the funds. The other 90-some % is in the G. This will be my last transfer before the 2 transfers/month kick in sometime next month.

The Dow will go on to put in new highs if the transports take out their old highs at 5446.49. We could easily do that today on the DJTA. If the NYSE breadth MCO is able to take out the early April highs a new price objective to around 9750 level on the NYA will be placed. Currently at 9464 - strap in buddy.
I haven't found that yardstick particularly consistent on the last half of the trade. Good luck tho. Trannies missed my r/p friday morning by less than 6 pts. We'll c if this is it. Typical specialist ram at eod, as usual (with the typical hype-to-trap commentary) if Monday is to be a tide down day. e.g. YHOO/MSFT. Were buyers checking out total M/C or reacting to the TH hype? Impact of the announcement was -$2.375B M/C. softie & yuhoo both in ndx/cubes but only softie in the dow. For every buck they ram yuhoo total proposed merger M/C loses $2.3B.
