I'm a little late to the party on this discussion, but if I understand correctly, pretty much anyone can vote in the SS in order to help compile the results. But, in order to see the full results of their vote (including the Buy\Sell signal) they must pay for another premium service??? I'll reserve my opinion (and my SS vote) for now, but I can see both sides of the argument and how some wouldn't agree. But, it's your site and you can run it the way you want. Guess I'm down to one Premium Service for now. Always did like checking the SS for comparison purposes though. Oh well, can't have it all. Good luck to you Tom on your new service.

What is there to not understand? Did I say something that was not true or a bad assumption? Feel free to correct me so that I might understand. 1998 posts

I may have misread your post because I can't remember why I said that.

TSP Talk Plus is $17.99 / month. What is the monthly rate without any other premium services. And the yearly rate is? I lost track of them. TSP Talk Plus will get addition privileges. Some of these extras include: Rate without these? I will stay in the G fund till Sept 3rd. I am thinking of getting onboard with TSP Talk PLUS After I return. Thanks Tom.

    Plus = $17.99/mo. - $179/yr

Current PS subscribers get 50% off. $9 and $90 respectively.

That's it. All extras included for all Plus subscribers.

I do remember the good old days a person could vote and see the results. hopefully they still get enough votes to make it worthwhile.

The good old days are still here. The surveys are the same and we have lost virtually no votes. Here are recent vote totals from before and after the service started.

    From: To: Votes
    09/16/13 - 09/20/13 402
    09/09/13 - 09/13/13 399
    09/03/13 - 09/06/13 397
    08/26/13 - 08/30/13 404
    08/19/13 - 08/23/13 439
    08/12/13 - 08/16/13 403
    08/05/13 - 08/09/13 395
    07/29/13 - 08/02/13 371
    07/22/13 - 07/26/13 400
    07/15/13 - 07/19/13 377

The results are still shown when you vote and the final results are still posted here... TSP Talk - Sentiment Survey System every Friday. These are the good old days.

If I'm reading between the lines correctly I think some folks are unwilling to provide a SSS vote without getting access to the results.
I recall some discussion about possible phony votes, questionable results, etc, so allowing only PS subscribers would seem to mean more investment into the process I guess? I miss seeing the SSS results too, but I have no clue about the practicalities of running a website although I do know expert investing advice isn't usually free.

The results are still posted here each weekend... TSP Talk - Sentiment Survey System and TSP Talk Forums - TSP Talk Sentiment Survey Results - Blogs

Anyone can still vote, although only 1 vote per IP address so those who share IP's may not be able to get a vote in.

Oh, I see. It's just the "signal" that's not included since the SSS went to premium status. Thanks for clarifying.
