I will be 60 soon. I wish TSP allowed you to choose the fund you want to take withdrawals from. Most if not all other companies let you choose where you want to withdraw funds from rather than...
Not seeing any huge advantage to leaving my account in the TSP after retirement.
I'm close to that:
G 20
F 30
C 30
S 10
I 10
TSP Talk Sentiment is really bulled up it looks like. 76% bullish so far!
Maybe start with a 4% annual withdraw rate and adjust as needed?

The NAAIM reading seems really bullish.
AAII less than 25% bullish. NAIIM nobody shorting. Sounds like a good recipe for more upside.
The markets have been climbing the wall of worry looking past the bad news and forward to recovery.
I read this book many years ago now. My main takeaway was his thoughts on asset allocation. 50 stocks 50 fixed income most of the time. Go as low as 25 stocks when valuations are high and 75...
Thanks for posting before the deadline. It should be a big day tomorrow either way but tough to call. By gut says up.
Thanks, Tom. Yes, 23.67% bullish, over 52% bearish.
Everyone is nervous about Friday. AAII bearish now back down to 23.67%! Bearish above 52%!. I wonder what NAAIM will be at today?

Does he publish his returns? How long has he been around? Not saying he can't be right or that he is a fraud. Just wondering why he gets so many accolades on TSPTalk. Everyone's got an opinion I...
Maybe fundamentals will start to drive the market a bit more but the Fed won't allow it I bet.
Are you buying today, Rod? Above 50 several days but down so far today.
If futures are any indication, the 50 EMA will be under pressure tomorrow.
When I first posted, I was looking at SMA then noticed you are watching EMA. It did close below the 50 day SMA.
Day 2 = above still on the S&P? Is that the one you are watching?
On any given day, it really is a crap shoot.
Ok, just wanted to make sure. Don't think MM cares much about TSP participant's miniscule market share or participant's pre deadline moves.
Are you saying that TSP deadline is affecting market behavior before our TSP Deadline? That does not seem plausible. What percent of market share do TSPers own? Most TSP accounts are buy and hold...
I like the idea of the 3-5 day closing confirmation rule in conjunction with 200 day SMA. Kind of sounds like a prove it rule.
