I guess it is not that bad. I did not gain the .68% that I would have if I stayed in. Maybe I will feel better tomorrow... or Friday.
GL everyone.
Does that have anything to do with the NASA program being evaluated for continuation
This thread should be moved to Technical Analysis.
Many are good, you just have to be aware of small print like:
“Unless otherwise indicated, all data is delayed by 20 minutes” (Stockcharts)
“Information is provided 'as is' and solely for...
I moved all to the G-fund. If nothing else, I am just locking in my gains. It may be a few days pre-mature, but maybe it is perfect timing. As I had my finger on the button, a thought about pigs and...
It's just getting a running start.
Looks like we might be going green soon.
Good to see you posting again D. Looking forward to some of your insights.

I am still tracking and using these dates as a tool. I will look again around the 19th of the month for a move.
This is a wild wave we are on. Still at 75-S and 25-C. For now.
Last year, I put my trust in the S and I-funds as the dollar fell. I still believe in the S-fund but think there is strength in the dollar. Bonds are to volitile  for me.
Hiccuupp! Well shut my mouth!
My profile is current and I frequently log into the autotracker. I noticed a couple of days ago that I am not being tracked. Could you look into this for me. TIA
I agree with Birch about no F. But I feel that small caps will prosper this year, with the rebuilding of small businesses and such. So I like 25C and 75S. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your encouragement. I have not compared with the Seven Sentinel’s. I looked at if for the first time after you posted this. I do not understand some of the SS and will have to study it...
I started tracking daily returns back in June 2008. Then I back tracked to 2003 and analyzed for patterns that fit. It seems to be similar to the Last Months Best Fund method, except I broke it down...
I have not posted in a while. Just sitting back wondering how to make heads or tails of this market. I have been keeping track of returns broken into the 3 segments of a month. I have left everything...
I will keep you in my prayers.
Birch,
I do not post much but I read here a lot. Thanks for posting information that sometimes helps me understand what is going on in the $ world. Keep up the good work.
I am looking at new data. Instead of only looking at the 1st and 15th, I am now breaking it down into 1-09, 10-19 and 20-31. Here are the returns as I see it:
4620
I will be moving into the...
The last two weeks of June killed the numbers for the S-fund. However, it is picking up again.
4320
I used the LMBF and broke it down in half. It is the Last Two Weeks Best Funds LTWBF. And, so far for 2008, from the 15th to the end of the month, the best return is the S fund. If something in the...
I was just playing with some numbers in the TSP because of our two move restrictions. I looked back through each year to 2003, and added up the daily returns in 2 incriments.
First, I added up...
It is all relative. Disney is a tourist trap, right? So, the tourist are loving our gas prices because some of them are paying upward of $5-7/gal. in their own country. So they don't mind spending...
