    Re: Social Security,now or later?

  2. Re: Early Retirement May Speed Up Cognitive Decline

I think what you do in retirement matters a lot. If you spend your day plopped on the sofa watching tv, well... it's pretty much over. Before I retired, I did go to a couple of retirement seminars....

I will state that I have been taking a distribution under IRS 72T rule since June 2013. My current...

I submitted a TSP-3 many years ago... designated a portion, 25%, goes to my sister and the rest to my wife, which she whole heartedly supports. I should put together information for them on how to...

I still follow... most of the time but.. long time analysis is bearing out that Alternate LMBF is not bearing fruit. May be time to put it to rest.

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

Great info... thanks... I use the S Fund in place of the C Fund as it usually has more volatility but the last few years it doesn't seem to. hmmm.. Think I will take this advice and go hide in F and...

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

This month, unlike my usual one day late for the interfund transfer, I was actually a day early. Let's see what the S Fund does for us.

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

The day the first dump took place I decided it was time.. the correction is about to hit so I bailed into the G Fund. I lost 6% by the time the transfer went through but seeing funds losing 8-10% I'm...

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

I did make a move tho... I've been LMBF-1 C>S.. decided with the C Fund generally rising higher than The S Fund recently, I moved to the C Fund. It will probably stop doing that but, cie le vie.

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

Re: anyone feels like we're being setup?

Re: anyone feels like we're being setup?

    Re: Alternate LMBF methods

As we approach the end of the month, the move out of the I fund to the S fund was a good move.. the C Fund was better but we get a gain instead of a loss.
