So, I heard the US Treasury is using our G-fund money as their own personal piggy bank again. Is that accurate?

Thanks for another fun contest, Tom!
Thanks guys, and thanks to Tom for offering monthly prizes. You sir are the real deal, you continue to impress me after all these years. As for me, it probably boiled down to dumb luck. After all,...
I hope to do better than I did on those silly golf tournament pick'ems. I can't do any worse.
I love it! You input this data by hand, daily?
It's easy only when he's being fed insider info. He must've had a falling out with his cronies at GS?!?
Yeah, ain't it great!
I tried to save my beloved Buckeye state but it was all for naught.
The market is well below the 200 day. I would hardly call that booming.
My ETF trading signals can now be sent live to your cell phone or email via twitter. The link is now on my page. The signals are generated by a timing model I developed last year. In no way shape...
I wrote a letter one time a few years back. Obviously it fell on deaf ears. Having only 2 IFT's per month is absolutely ridiculous. I am on board for whatever it takes to get this rule changed.
Getting a short signal => buysellmodel.com
Moving to 80% G.
The relatively big spike in the VIX earlier this afternoon just nixed my short signal I was getting. In an uptrending market my system will only short when the VIX is down considerably. So, I guess...
Thanks, Tom. :) Turned out to be a shorter stint in the S-fund than I would've liked...my system is giving yet another sell/short signal (see link in sig if interested). This relentless rally has...
FireWxMet,
Thanks for the input. That is the dilemma. Use them both in the first week and hope to catch the bull's response, or wait and use them after the real fall. (assuming there is one.)
...
Ha, good stuff!
I've been pouring over some data when the VIX spikes big like it did on Friday. It usually resulted in a small continuation sell-off on the following day (Monday, in this case)...
That's awesome, nasa. Thanks.
As for the market, I suspect we'll see a bit more selling early next week, setting us up for a good buying opportunity just in time for our new IFT's. :)
Pretty easy. Open a regular account, then apply for a margin account. Which is just 1 extra piece of paper to fill out. At that point, just start day trading, making sure to keep 25,000 (or much...
Well, it turned out to be a sell afterall. Just barely, though. And just like that, after 2 days, I'm out of IFT's....
Thanks, I see that now. That's good for him and all followers. My system's sell signal disappeared after the 1pm sell-off. Now I'm showing a hold, also. Silly noon deadline strikes again!! ...
Thanks Frixxx. I'm out again. Got a sell signal... just like IT. 90 G, 5 C, 5 S.
Went all in today, 50% C, 50% S. I was more excited when everything was down this morning. So much for getting a good price. Oh well, buy high and sell higher, right?
The Girl Next Door
Good luck, I_T. I'd join ya, but retail and copper r both underperforming SPX in the short term.
Moving from 60% to 80% G today. Will go 100% G Friday.... Got a short signal yesterday.
My thoughts on contribution allocation is to always leave it set to 100% stocks. Since they limited IFT's, you may as well get a free move into stocks with your new money. Also, dollar cost...
