Yes, I realize that ... but it seems something should come from OPM.gov (the real OPM) that introduces the contractor they hired. Anyone can embed a fake message from OPM in a .com e-mail.
Burro ... You were right on!!
Uscfan ... Who did you provide your SSN to? If they didn't have that information ... they do now. It seems like this data should be sent through the US Mail ... not...
I received a notice as well, with the personally named notice and pin code, ... but I think the point being made is that the notices (at least what I received) did not come from a .gov address. It...

Check the Ice Box. Did the Milk Man come today?
Sometimes we need to appreciate where we are and what we have ... and not everything can be "fixed". The data in the charts below are from 2007 and 2011. Statistically, some countries have better...
Can I help you find a specific book or you can look through the card catalog. Your familiar with the Dewey Decimal System?

Understand ... I was trying to think of a way to "convert" and have that count as a "disbursement" without really withdrawing the funds, since TSP allows pre and post tax to commingle in the same...
So ... I wonder if TSP could allow participants to pay the tax on the "mandatory distribution" amount, converting it to Roth, while allowing the funds to remain in the TSP account? It seems that it...
I agree ... but I think it's a tax thing ... you could consider incrementally converting it to a Roth. You will have to pay the tax, but you can leave the Roth, with all tax paid, to those you leave...
Wow … 8000 posts … that’s a lot of words!! :hail:
You could publish “The Revelations of Burro” or something like that. Congratulations! DS
It seems that many would/should be suspect of unexpected telephone calls from “TSP advisers". They do note that in the article, but they don’t address the restrictive trading and withdrawal...
Could just count 2 shares for each one (for the current spreadsheet) going forward ... or go back to the start of year (in your spreadsheet) and implement the split? Just a thought ... I get the...
Ok, since we got this "looking into the past" thing all worked out ... how do we "look" into the future? How can the "future affect the past"? Sounds strange, but ... Does the future "exist"?

We could "instantly transport" a digital video camera. [the "instantly transport" part is still in work] Of course, we would also need "instant delivery" of the video feed.
So if we could somehow [miracle happens here] place a mirror (or find a reflective object?) a million light years away ... we could watch some of the earths real history on the Discovery channel??
Thanks ... but when we look through the telescope aren't we looking back into time, since the light is traveling toward us? Or are you talking (in the quote above) about going backward in time here...
This may sound silly, but are you saying that any "time travel" would likely not extend life, so it may take generations to "travel" to new [actually old, in the past] worlds, in the "Star Trek"...
So assuming the Superman method doesn't work, … do we need to be able to travel faster than the speed of light? Then, when we get there [wherever] won’t we still be older? Interesting topic, by...
Thanks ... but where's the missing one?? I have a long way to go to catch you!
Wow … didn’t even realize it …. Thanks very much!!

Do you remember if the blackberry wine was sweet or more dry? Wine has a higher alcohol content than beer (2x-3x) so I can see the result. Sometimes it takes a while to find a wine you like, but...
I thought we were trying to remain anonymous, so we could have multiple profiles? :cheesy: (I’m kidding!!!)
