Default Making the Most of Social Security class at Maricopa Community College

My spouse just atended a community college class entitiled "Making the most of Social Security". It cost her $23. It was sponsored by a local "estate planner" Name available on request as I don't wan't to get in trouble here.

She came back with "there are so many thing we are doing wrong". After discussing the specifics, we know what we are doing wrong and are working to correct these things. Mostly old IRAs and amounts in savings accounts. The presenter did state when asked that TSP was an annuity. Maybe, if you choose it. He did not appear to know anything about TSP. He also did not appear to know much about Social Security benefits.

I am wondering why she had to pay for a county sponsored class that answered no questions about the subject and led to going to a seminar sponsored by the presenter and his company.

Bottom line-I am not doing a good job with the money and the presenter can get somewhere under 8% if we give him our money. Sponsored by Maricopa County, Arizona.

    Life as usual.

po, i am going share my thoughts on the matter, all two of them. do not under any cirumstance try any of these things in a real relationship because it will just make things worse. fair warning.

when was the last time you just dropped what you were doing and pulled her in your arms and looked her in the eyes and told her you love her? did she melt into you and get closer? or did she pull away and fret about who is going to clean up the mess you made when you just dropped everything on the floor? we have white carpets, how could you just drop everything, who is going to call the servicemaster man with the shampoo van, do you know how much they cost, you are so clumsy? that is a big clue right there brother.

maybe she has a thing for retirement planner schills and con artists, have you tried being a bad boy and giving her the full bad girl treatment lately? some of them like that.

did you know that if an american gentleman marries a mexican national she instantly becomes a u.s. citizen? and many of them would be more than happy to shampoo the carpet all day long in exchange for freedom. maybe working together you could find willing love and ditch the current pouty fighter? do you like kids? you live in arizona right? buy rosetta stone online for $250 and don't be afraid to get your cinco de mayo groove on. the worst that could happen is she smashes an empty shot glass that used to hold cuervo in it against your forehead and you wake up broke with a smile on your face that won't go away and a strange rash. which by the way is exactly where you headed in your current situation. why not have a little fun along the way?

it seems your wife wants a stable, predictable 8% return with no risk and no surpises and no unseemly effort or lip. have you considered you may not be the man to give it to her? have you considered she might be a lot happier with half the money and extra time to practice her flower arrangements and reading books featured on oprah and chatting with the girls about how dumb boys are? you might be happier with that arrangement too.

at a minimum po, i recommend you find yourself a full tank of gas, a six pack, and a dirt road. then put the hammer down with no intention of turning back. see where it takes you.

unfortunately, most times you'll just end up back home apologizing for messing up the carpet and paying the cleaners cash out of your allowance. but nobody can take away the smile on your face.

make heel dust brother, that one is wrong for you and will ruin your health.
