Board Slow Near Deadline

The requirement to have moves posted by noon is the factor that makes the board slow. Solution, let folks post an hour or two later than the noon deadline.

FYI... We would like folks to give updates on speeds near the deadline so Tom can relay this info to his provider.

Hopefully a solution will be in the works soon.

I have about 15 to 20 seconds between page changes after about 11:50. There are also over 200+ people hitting this board. As long as it doesn't get worse I'm not sweating it.

I posted my move and then came back later to give reasons. I think what is slow is really the search feature. When you search for new post, that's when I notice the most slow down.

I have heard from other boards using this software that the search is slow. Probably something that can be programmed better on their end. I'm assuming it will be fixed with the next version release because of the compaints.
