Now I am being told that the new server does not have sufficient memory and I will need to upgrade. Sheesh! I upgraded to a dedicated server to increase performance and it slows us down. Mo' money, mo' money.

Not really. It's kind of my fault. We needed a dedicated server for the credit card processing and since this site isn't very large compared to others, I took the cheapest one. Even with the upgrade I'm paying about 1/2 of a what a top of line server costs, which would be overkill, but this new upgrade is costing me about 8x what I used to pay per month.

The MB has been painfully slow today. Not complaining, just reporting.

Yes, I hope they are working on it. Here's the latest:

The amount of memory I was asking for can not be put on the dedictaed server we were recently moved to because it was not a Pentium 4 machine. So now the site is going to be moving to another server with a faster chip so I can crank up the memory. I got a pretty good deal but it is still way more than I wanted to pay.

If this doesn't make us fly then nothing will. Hopefully the upgrades will be completed within a couple of days.
