When I am reading TSPTalk and scroll down using either the arrow buttons or clicking the scroll bar at the right, ie stops responding totally. Still finding out stuff I don’t like about win8. Maybe I mean stuff I don’t understand.

I feel your pain, You may want to start IE in safe mode to see if it's an IE vs. a OS issue. If it's an IE issue, then I would try disabling all addons to see if this resolves the issue, if it does, then add back each addon one-by-one until you figure out which one is causing the problem.

Had the same troubles here too..Not to mention slower than snail poop in December..

Sh!t-can Windows8..worthless OS unless you have a touch screen...Dump IE11, another bogus flawed piece of crap...Stuff would work some places and not here or visa versa....


I finally found a happy compromise, so no matter where I went or looked, they all worked on everything.....Windows7 pro edition and IE8..Nevermind Firefox of any version..it complicates things elsewhere too and in spite of what some say, it is not the gift from the IT gods as they may think.

New development today. Now IE11 works not at all. I get a message:

A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I go to programs and features and do not find ie listed as an installed program. One update today for windows defender.

Chrome still works so not going to work on this today.

Don't you love upgrades? Can't wait for IE12.

My Win 8.1 with IE11 works just fine, even using WaterFox 64 bit, computer is quick. I know don't say it!

I have problems with IE11 sometimes. I have to many windows open and it doesn't like it. My wife's laptop has Windows 8 and I'm still trying to get used to it. At work we have IE8 and some websites I have to go to tell me I have an old version of IE and to upgrade. Real pain in the behind.

I don't have those problems, but the internet is slower than grits running uphill today. This is on both of my computers, I tried to Speed test my connection and it wouldn't even load on two different sites.computer-smash.gif TSP Talk is doing better than them.

I rebooted my Modem, router and VOIP Telephone system and now all is well!

I just upgraded to IE11 from IE8 because I was getting popup notices everywhere that my web browser was not current enough or supported anymore on several applications, even this site loads a whole lot faster now...It even spell checks for me when posting here.....I got to say I am very impressed with the smoothness and fast action on all accounts with IE11...no problems at all.
