Making Adjustment to Help Forum Speed

I will be tweaking some of the settings that could be slowing down the site at peak times. So, you may see a few changed here and there. For instance, taking the display of today's birthday's off the forum home page will save some time. There are others so let me know if you can't live without them. If you can't, then we have to sacrifice speed.

I am aware that there are currently some issues. I'm working on adjusting several settings and it's a bit of a hit and miss effort until I get it working.
