    Technobucks,

What a great web site. I went incountry 11/67 - left country 7/69. Missed the whole Woodstock generation thing. I stayed in the closet when I returned home for 15 years, Ronald Reagan brought me out. I became a born again Republican when yellow back Jimmy Carter gave the draft dodgers amnesty. Been one ever since. I grew up in New Hampshire only 40 miles from the Canadian border-could have walked there in my bare feet-chose to defend freedom instead. Being a vet now helps me keep my dignity. I will listen to the music.

Here is another link (I probably got it from you) www.1stcavmedic.com Dennis

A good crew chief was worth his weight in gold! Some were also great artist. On their behalf there is a collection of nose art. Well dad did it in WWII!

Hey my man the gardener -- you were at Woodstock? I probablysaw you there! I was18 that summer and was drafted shortly thereafter, ouch. The music from the 60's not only seems more inventive and creative than today; it was!

Im female and I was a high school senior at the time.......joined the Air Force in 70...its really like they say...if you remember the 60's you werent there. he he....I agree...the music WAS more inventive, more sensual, creative, artistic...Today's music sucks.....very few bands get my attention. Im in a time warp when it comes to music I guess...Hey...Stones tour starts up this fall.....Guess Im still a hippie at heart. And the next person who said Woodsucks was right. and now...they're making the beautiful field a parking lot for real....just stabs me in the heart..........Anyway....great sight for learning about finances...........I need to learn all I can since I was stupid when I was young

Female, er, so sorry please excuse me. Once a hippy always a hippy. Just because we wear short hair and work for the government doesn't mean a thing. What's wrong with peace and love? There's nothing naive about it, nor is there a contradiction in participating in the world of finance:we have a responsibility to provide for our families.

Today's music sort of baffles me. There is just as much talent as ever before but the sausage factory seems intent on submerging it beneath a Niagara of mediocrity. There is real music out there but you have to search for it. Mostly all Ihearis a drum machine, a sample or twoand a lot of yelling, a sort of democratization of talent wherein ANYONE can make a hit record if they are pretty enough on video.

Believe it or not, opera now appeals to me. It is an improbable art form but loaded with talent and front to back it gets the very best treatment in terms of musicianship, recording technology and product presentation.

    Dave
