I don’t rent mobile homes, but I do rent mobile home spaces. With older mobile homes you can expect to have more maintenance. You have to watch out for particle board floors, after they get wet they will just crumble.

One of my favorite authors is Lonnie Scruggs, he has a couple of books on flipping mobile homes. He likes to buy them for $5,000 or less and sell them for $7,000 or more. He also does his own financing for about $2,000 down, $400 a month for 8%.

I don’t remember any mobile homes in Alaska. With temps at 70 below in the winter I would think you would need to add insulation all around, JMHO.
