Default Has Anyone Ever Wondered About...

Has anyone ever wondered about the impact of this website upon the IFT? Between the hours of 11am and noon Eastern time, we are like a herd of elephants all making IFT's between the G/F and the C/S/I. I suspect we are responsible for 1000's of IFT's. While a handful of people post their moves, I suspect 1000's of others are just following their favorite posters or the crowd in general.

This website is awesome! All of us Feds need to stick together and get rich together.

The cost of doing business for TSP has gone down the last three years. You would think that if we were making a dent those cost would rise. The fact is that we (tsptalk folks) are still just a drop in the bucket. Add to this the fact that huge amounts of money go into the TSP daily and you get that the TSP just has to alter their "buy" for the day more than anything else. It really is rare days like end of February where massive movement into/outof a fund actually impacts. End of February it was a mass exodus out of I-fund (correct move I might add) that really pinched/strained TSP. Usually if you look at where we as a group move, we don't all go the same direction at the smae time and thus a lot of our moves cancel each other out.
