Default TSP site auto log off

When you are signed in to the TSP site and you are inactive for a certain amount of time you are automatically logged off. Does anyone know what that time frame is? Any suggestions for remaining logged in to avoid having to re log at the last second before making a decision? I was thinking maybe clicking back and forth from the recent activity to the IFT links every couple of minutes or so.

I never get logged off. You must have some "settings" issues. I assume this is on you home PC.

Are you getting any error messages? Have you saved you password? Even if your ISP kicks you off or times out your user name and password should be saved. I keep a TSPTalk window open almost all the time and have never got kicked off.

That is interesting news to me. I need to do some research on my settings. I get logged off of TSPTALK when inactive for a certian time as well.

Dont get any error messages. Save what password and where? TSP.gov password? Do you mean save passwords via my own computor settings or via websites?

User name and pass word at the top right of the message board page. There is a small square box "remember me". Click the box and it should save you user name and pass word so that you can go right to the MB.

OK did that. So now you say that no matter how long I remain inactive on this MB I will not have to log back in to post a message?

Any PC that you log into and check the "remember me" square will keep you logged in until you click "Log Out". Only time it should kick you off now is if you do some PC maintenance and clear out the old files.

Absolutely NOT! You do not want anyone to accidental gain access to you PC or tsp.gov account information.
