I have made two IFTs since Monday and they have been executed correctly.I received email notice of the transactionlate that same day, or the morningafter the transfer.
Has anyone noticed if the impact from Katrina is affecting the speed with which you can move money into or out of the various funds? TSP used to be pretty good about getting you into the fund the next day if you made your allocation changes by noon the previous day. Has anyone noticed any changes in this since Katrina hit?

Customer service using the TSP's Internet site is unaffected due to relocation of computer servers and the processing of data at an undisclosed location in Northern Virginia. See article:

That is kind of funny cause the alternate work site posted on TSP states to the employees it is Dallas.

I have a friend who use to workat the back-up site for the Nasdaq and he could never tell anyone where he worked except to say "around Washington DC somewhere". Well duh, we live 40 miles from DC so I assume he worked around DC.........o
Anything that requires paper processing will be delayed.
