    I was under the impression that if I submit a request for a trade by 0830 west coast time my trade would be effective at the COB that day.

    I just did a transaction on the TSP site this AM (0811 to be exact)and the conformation message indicated my trade would be effective in two business days!



    What gives, or was I late?

    You won't get confirmation until tonight in your e-mail, if you signed up to receive e-mail confirmations. Your transfer should take effect at COB today. What you saw wasmost likelyimmediately after you inputted your transfer and was just to tell you your request went went through.

    You should be fine. Look for an e-mail around 8-9 o'clock EST. Or just check your account.
