Retuning to G service. + moving balance

Hello all first let me say what a great site. IT is very much needed.. Thank you..

I have 2 questions. I am seperated from the gov right now but I did not close my TSP balance I knew I would return.. Once I get back in do I have to fill out special forms or will the TSP pick up on my SS number and use my current account?

Second since I am not adding to this account is it still a good Idea to move within the fundsmy balance with the changing market?

I like to move my money around for various reasons. Your retirement and financial situation may be different.

As far as returning to TSP after a layoff, I assume you guessed it as your SSN is your account number. And since this hasn't changed...
