    When you say allocations do you mean both the % in cash and the % going to a fund?

    Yes, % in cash for the total allocation or for an interfund transfer.

    Contribution allocations are moot, so the % there is pretty irrelevant and not considered.

    Welcome loscar!

    Allocations do refer to either interfund transfers or contribution (new money) but like Rolo said, the contribution allocation is not as important IF you are actively making interfund transfers.

    Also, contributions are mostly a small %age of the overall balance.
