Something stinks about this religion. A religion of extremists that potentiate violence. Yes something surely stinks in the mid-east. It makes them crazy for martrydom.

This or that religion is not the problem. It's the twisting of young, easily swayed minds. Our fine christian ancestors are not exempt from the greed and ego.

Inorder for every young worthless Arab to become a Jihadist he must first receive his dear mothers' permission and blessing. If they didn't have a mother they wouldn't get permission to blow their a## up. Get where this is going....and if they didn't have a mother at all they wouldn't exist. All the Middle East needs is efficient birth control or more bombs going off at their home.

Thanks FUTURESTRADER. That's exactly along the lines I was thinking. I'm not too proud of what many "Christians" have done - KKK for example.

Be careful not to blame the religion for mans failures in character or interpretation. Compare apples to apples. The Christian religion is good it is man that is always corrupt, greedy, lustful, jealous, ect.

Now compare Christianity to Islam. One tells you to spread the the word of God and to love everyone, even your enemy. The other tells you to spread the word of Muhammad by 1. Convert them and if you can not, 2. Enslave them or 3. Kill them. Nice religion.

Apples to apples: Were the people of the nation supportive of the war (termoil) or against it?
    Germany WWII ?
    Japan WWII ?
    Italy WWII ?
    Korea ?
    Vietnam ?
    Iran ?
    Lebonan ?
    Iraq ?
When you see the streets full of protestors the big picture comes into focus! It's easy to read the headlines or hear the extremes (left and right). But what do the people say?

    Spaf,

I'm not sure I get your point. My reference was more along the line of a holy war. Jihad! One religion against all others. Convert or die. The thing that strikes me first is that all of these counties you list, the government or the one's in power, controlled all of the media and had control of most of the weapons. The citizens were whipped up in a frenzy to blame another for their woes (mostly economic or political). Some knew what was going on and supported it (the herd), some knew and did nothing out of fear (self preservation), some were oblivious (the ignorant), and some in denial. I believe Germans were pissed because of the economy and WWI, the Japanese were pissed because of the economy and isolationism. We were squeezing them by not selling them oil. Korea and Vietnam communism. The rest I'm not sure.

You have to start making your point without the offensive references. You're going over the line here.

    Tom,

I was actually trying to be politically correct by avoiding the term homosexuality. So where it says edit just substitute. It is totally acceptable in the lands of Islam to practice ...............
