    Default H1N1

Stratfor released an analysis yesterday on the H1N1 virus. I can't post it, but would like to share an excerpt from it (not word for word):

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) believes that hospitalization rates and mortality rates for the virus are similar to or lower than they are for traditional influenza strains. In addition, influenza data are incomplete and rarely cross-comparable, so the likelihood of mass deaths are little more than scaremongering bereft of any real analysis or actual evidence.

We knew that, since last Spring..that it was a mild, highly contagious strain of influenza...Highly contagious because 1. Nobody has ANY natural immunity against it and 2. It lives long outside of the host in the environment.

    Thanks for the confirmation CH.
