...doesn't matter when you earned it - the changing of hands is what counts.
...like, you claim your IRS deductions the year the money went out, the other guy claims the income the day he received it.

BUT - I'll bet you Almost anything, that you will get your automatic deposit on Dec 29, Friday; and when they cut the check (eft), the tsp gets their's at that same time -
