I have recently left the service for personal reasons...I have been with the service for seven years but have never made any individual contributions to my tsp...My question is...am I entitled to receive the money that the gov't has put towards my tsp account? I want to use it to pay back my fehb. Any response would be greatly appreciated...
    Thanks

    Welcome datagirl,

Unfortunately the military does not put or match any money towards TSP accounts. And even if they did, we must first contribute to it.

Only government civilian employees receive a matching contribution. Again, you must first become a contributor.

Bottom line, if you did not enroll in the TSP and contribute to it then you have no $$$ to withdraw from it.

    God Bless
