I almost pulled the trigger last night on an IFT to move more money in when the DOW futures were down 1,000 points, but as they came all the way back up to positive I decided to sit it out and see what happens.

This market is nuts right now. Dow Futures were -1200 at one point last night, now we are up 500 points. LOL.

IFT 60C 20S 20I. I’m putting the other half in with an emphasis on the C fund.

Well, looks like I got a pretty good price!

In this kind of volatility, I wonder if I should do just a one day snipe and get out tomorrow if we up are big. Not sure if I should hold on more longterm or get out with gains while I can. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

If we happen to be up big tomorrow I'm out - bad thing is I will be frozen on the sideline rest of month

Welp, looks like I got in at least one day too early. I will hold on for now and see how we look next week.

Ooookay so we ended up positive by almost 1.5%? Wow. Crazy ride this week. We put that tail on the candlestick so maybe the bottom is in?! How nice would that be...

Green across C, S and I so far today. Good way to start the week. I'll check out the chart patterns tonight.

I took the opportunity and got out - hopefully it will hold (noon deadline stinks) - this would give me a breakeven maybe slightly ahead during this downturn and will freeze me out for Feb
