And the rollercoaster continues with the S Fund in the best shape. The start of month affect is going to be really interesting next week.

That was quite a drop (0.5%) on large volume for the AGG (F Fund) today. It dropped right through the 50 DMA like a knife through butter. Looks like Tom was right about the bear flag in his chart.

This looks like an opportunity to get out on an up day. 100% G Fund by EOD today.

That makes it 100% S Fund for the CRAP system for those still interested in that.

Has anybody tried going to https://www.tsp.gov/ today? All I get is a white screen. No notice, error message or anything. Just a white-out blizzard. You better have the phone number and your pin ready if you plan on making an IFT today.

The phone number is: 1-TSP-YOU-FRST (1-877-968-3778). Sorry, I cant help you with your pin.

Yep, for me too. I wonder what that was about? You usually get a splash screen notice if a site is down for maintenance.

Now that our government is once again dipping into our G Fund to deal with the debt limit (21 Days: Treasury Says Debt Has Been Frozen at $18,112,975,000,000 | CNS News), it's time to realize that our retirement plan is the 4th largest holder of U.S. debt (Fun Fact: Federal employees own $1 trillion of U.S. debt). The military retirement plan is the 5th largest and our Social Security is number 1. That being the case I think we should have more of a say in the matter instead of always being treated with disrespect and being used as congress' favorite punching bag.

There's a lot of fear on the forum today. That would tend to indicate it's a good time to buy. Anybody else in Birch mode today?
