I forgot SPY and thought I would show some volume. There is a bear flag and yet future's are 50% off their drop. Is the double bottom caused by Greece being bought? Where is that confused emotion button when you need it?

And the SnP bounced right at 2058....Normally I would like the symmetry but the markets haven't fully digested all the news out there today. Caution is the word of the day!

On a side note, the Chicago Board of Trade is almost all computer operated now. The trading pits are going silent and the computer models are driving commodity trades. I wonder what the removal of the human element is going to do to the trading models (especially futures and currency models).

As to your side note it seems that the market is responding to new events more yet they don't panic as much anymore. Instead of trading patterns as before they're are more willing to trade more on a daily basis trusting the speed of their computers, with their stops in, to react with market movement. Maybe that's why I don't put full fate in my patterns and just do them weekly. I think even JTH has even been having trouble with pattern trading this year.

So that said, looking at the bottom of the page it looks like, other than the I fund, the Greece fear is subsiding.

Bquat, I know your charts are from freestockcharts, but please allow me to use your thread to ask if anyone else is having problems with opening the charts at StockCharts.com. Mine are opening up incorrectly and with a July 2 date. Thanks for your help. Airlift

They must be trying to fix the charts, this is what I get using FireFox.
    The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Waterfox is permitted to access the Web.
