at my age i don't think so. now don't get me wrong here, my junk's still good. it's just that the still fertile ones don't want it and the non-cyclers won't take it. damn women's lib ruined everything, what a sad world when a woman don't need a man no more. that is exactly where our society went wrong if you ask me.

Burro, I almost avoided responding...but okay, I'll bite just this once! .

Women's lib is not at fault. Those women were not happy with any man to begin with... Or at least that is the message I get and so you gotta ask yourself the question: do you really want one of those??

I think the non- cyclers resist because they've been bossed around enough in life and do not want to be bossed around for what little time remains. For example, Don't want to listen to a man correct me on how to screw in a light bulb, etc. i mean really...how many different ways could there be and does it really matter as long as it works??? Or why are you using an incandescent bulb?? They waste electricity...and i say...but I like them!! And that is just the tip of the iceberg!! Hummm.... Sex?? Let me see...is it worth it under those circumstances??? Not really...so see, there you have the truth.

If your not a pain in the arse, then you need to convince someone of that because menfolk, in general, don't have the best reputation in that area and the non-cyclers know it cuz they learned it the hard way!! They have served their time!! So its Time to be a Freebird!!! Now if you offer true love and affection and your not a constant pain in the arse....then you have a chance but that is much longer discussion.

So there are always exceptions, but you would need to convince someone you have the right stuff..... Not an easy thing to do but it is possible. In the end, love is a two way street that works best when filled with mutual love, affection, respect and passion ( and without nagging in either direction).

As for cyclers, they might not yet know your ways, so better chance with them ...

    volatity is good for traders.

i am thinking of getting in tomorrow if it it looks like another hard close down by the deadline. but i am in the field with an appointment at 1.5 hrs before i would have to place the order and will not be done by then and likely out of cell phone data reception range anyhow.

i will get about a 20 minute window after the open to decide whether or not to pull the trigger and let the chips fall where they may.

ark update: it has been a long week, and the market's been busy too.

admin note: whipsaw is joining the ark as hawk, because of the swoop in and out to grab a morsel thing. the whole shebang was overstocked with squatters not swoopers so in a volatile market it was less than ideally informative. also there was exactly 12 denizens but what if a mutiny ocurred? it could end in a tie vote so now we got an even baker's dozen, 13, and can form a quorum.

another admin note: amoeba is now hare instead of tortiose, that turtle thing wasn't appropriate.

bookkeeping note: el vira (the volatility indicator risk assessment) is expressed as a distance from nuetral by percentage, with 1 lo - 5 middle -10 hi as relative to each's personal level of risk. after that it all gets aggregated and divided and multiplied and stuffed into the grinder for some magic arithmetic sausage making investment result. don't ask. it's complicated. but 13x5=65 so that is nuetral.

ark update cont.: it ocurred to me awhile back that frequency of trades relative to individual level of risk tolerance might be something to keep an eye on. so this week's sausage recipe follows this format:

username/familiar, vira, ytd%, allocation, #ift's yts, reputation. anyways, i wonder if there is a correlation between trigger happy and retire in style?

reputation note: 1-5=timid, 6-10=active, 11-15=popular. along with the occassional anominally/outlier/crazy/freak/whathaveyou.
