    Default HotRod's Account Talk

    Hey, I'm new to the TSP Talk site but have been watching pretty closely for a month or so now, figured it was time to take advantage of the message boards. I'm not really new to investing, used to play in commodities back in the 90s.

    I've been contributing to the TSP since the mid 80s, usually 100% C, was 33% C, 33% S, and 33% I for the last couple years, but with the downturn last year decided to reallocate. Have been %50% G and 50% C for about 6 months then went to 75% G and 25% C for the last month or so, just went 50% C and 50% S yesterday to try and take advantage of a Santa rally so I'll be keeping a close eye on that. We'll see.

    Thanks for the welcome, don't know how good of a handle I have on my investments these days, that's why I'm here, to see what others are doing and get a handle on things.

    Well today wasn't a real good start to my Santa rally play, lost about 1.9%...coulda been worse, I'll let it play out a little while.

    love to race , little small block , 10.89 on motor, 9.76 on NOS man i love the NOS,i usually run 12.00 real street class, easier on parts , but there is nothing like pushing that little blue button, and hold on real tight

    Yeah, I do a little sports car racing, SCCA road racing. Been doing it for about 15 years now...something to spend money on.
