I don't know enough to move to any one fund for any length of time. In fact I feel it would be foolhardy of me (because of my lack of knowledge) to do anything other than jump in and right back out. Then I wouldn't have any IFT's left to possibly cause myself REAL grief.

I've been trying to learn how to read the charts. Working on understanding moving averages and support/resistance. This stuff ain't easy but it sure has been fun learning and hanging out here on this MB. I call you people my imaginary friends to my wife...

I just feel I learn more by doing than by studying. And if I use up my 2 IFT's I can't do too much damage.

What market is the first to open Monday morning? Somewhere in Asia? Somewhere in the Pacific? Australia/NZ?

Whats up with "after hours" trading? And whats with "futures" trading?

Just trying to learn more about how it all works.

Everyone waits to see how Paulson and his crew put together the program and get it going. There will be speculation and swings, IMO until the program goes into action. Then there may be a sell the news mentality again.

Sorry. I should have been more specific about the generality of my question.

I was wondering about what happens in the markets over any given weekend not specifically with the crap sandwich we've been served recently.

Let me try again. New Z., Aust., and Japan will open first I would guess this will be positive news for them.

After hours trading is just for smucks like me to scalp some cheap trade or take late day profits.

Futures won't be a issue until late Sunday and Monday morning. Here is one link I use. I would hope they are green Sunday night.
