OK enough rambling (I tend to do that). Currnetly I am 70% G, 15% C, and 15% S. I was "smart" enough to gamble that our country would be smart enough to elect our President outright last week and was fully invested in the C,S, and I funds for the nice gains. Really unsure on what to do for the rest of the week with the interest hike expected raise and the fact that no changes can be made on Thursday. So I think I will stay with my current allocation and be satisfied with my profits from last week. Any cooments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again all. :^

One last thing Tom, perhaps a spell check option would take some of the posting stress off some of us (well, me anyway)

Welcome BigJames!! My father's name was James and he served in both the Korean and Vietnam's Wars. I served 7 years myself but did not see any action. Got out right before the Gulf War started because my NCO pissed me off. Could of been retired last year......... OH well.......

My advice is to read Rod's account. He made a good point about the S fund and how it has done this year when the rates have been raised.

I still currently 100% S because my system, and I realize some here, and seems like there are more and more of them, don't think you can have a system, but I'll prove them wrong, tells me to stay in right now.

I must have missed this post earlier. There is a spell checker. It's the "abc" button on the top right of new and replying posts.
