You did better than my premature move. I hoped at the time of my IFT we would see the double bottom but we got a reversal day and a couple of roller coaster did nothing days.

Im not grumping. As of about right now the S&P is just about where I entered so if we get the holiday boost like you said my losses are erased and bonus yet to come.

But lets all have a nice l o n g weekend as Tuesday is when we will see how this plays out.

Point well taken, the stats show the poor performance starts next week, but my stats have been so out-of-whack that believe there is a case for a "flip the script" scenario

Ah, I love the smell of victory, even if it's just for a day.

Good night, and have a great holiday weekend!

For myself, I’m currently up .59% MTD, down -8.16% YTD, and recently moved into the C-Fund.
This marks the first time this year I'm ahead of the CSI funds, it's a small victory but I'll take it. With no IFTs left, and 10 more trading days to endure, I'll have my finger resting on the exit button, looking to avoid as much damage as possible because I believe this market has high potential to go lower to the 1750 level. This would be another -6% drop from current prices, which would also trigger an official Bear Market for the S&P 500. Either ways, there's still money to be made and I plan to eek out every last cent of it...

    + 1
First overhead resistance is pretty close. would be nice if S&P cuts straight through and acts as resistance before close.

We may need a cut-the-apron-strings from Mr. Earl to go much higher though. That or he leads the way up getting back over $30bbl

Personally, I like cheap gas AND nice gain stock gains. lol.

Looks like it bounced off the 20 day SMA. It doesn't look good if we can't make it through that.

Failed breakout in Sept too. The second attempt in Oct busted through. Keep yer chin up!

JTH-ALPAFS, IFT from 100G to 100C EoB Today

    1) SPX/W4500/NDX have flipped back over to a buy.
    2) SPX/W4500 have a lower low & higher high, so the downtrend is broken, but the uptrend is not established.

Something in Tom's daily comments got me to thinking...Remember when we were kids we would play "pile on"?

This is what will keep the rally alive from here on out, if investors keep jumping in... afraid of missing the precious gains.

Only in THIS game, last man on the pile -- LOSES!

So, dear investor what will you do, is there still a lot of room to move up?

BTW: that guy JTH is low as you can get!
