JTH, I was wondering if anyone had trouble logging in to there TSP account. When I tried to log in it took along time for it to open up and kept giving me an error logging in. After the third time I was locked out and didn't have time to get my password reset and therefore no trade was made. Later in the afternoon I noticed the S&P made a new low. So do you think we will test the low before we move higher? Thanks in advance.

Here is a man after my own Heart.

Consider an Upper target of S&P 2045 -- What's the percentage of gains from where the market close is today?
I like TSPTalk and I think most people here are well-intentioned but if I followed their advice, I'd be hunkered down in my basement with a thousand cans of tuna fish.

    Hi Fab

I'm not examining price levels, looking for an upper target, or calling a bottom here. My goal was simple, "out perform the C-Fund" and I've achieved this goal in the short-term. At one point, I was trailing the C-Fund by almost 4%, so I consider it a small (but important) victory. For now, I'm looking to exit on a 2-3% bounce.

Ah I C...I like to Think BIG.

No, you have a realstic goal and I was outperforming C myself (and I dont want to fall behind that either)
so I will probably give it 2-3 trading days and get out while the getting is good, if we get there and I am
talking about EMA 20 or little higher if we dont get a glass ceiling effect there.

Looks like Futures are Bright this morn!!

I had jumped in a week or so ago, thought it had 2-3 days legs... got out with the skin on my teeth on day 3. Though, had I seen JTH's move yesterday, I'd likely be in right now, for a day, maybe.

No issues with TSP.Gov other than the fact it sucks becaause they make it very difficult to login. As an example they leave the TSP Account number as the default user name, WTF?

Anyways, this is a bear market, I'm more inclined to think today will be a light volume day pre-holiday. After the holiday, I think we should rally.

Did I buy the lows for February?

Hey Whipsaw, that was still a win for us. We just stayed in a day to long. Burro on the other hand rode that monster and was lucky to be saved by the rodeo clown. Either way, we all jumped in, grabbed some booty and are now safely back on the ark...Life is good!
