Energy stocks have lagged the run up in oil prices to record highs, which could be a sign that current crude prices are not sustainable. What happens if Iraq decides to help us out and begins to pump the pumps.
Oil bubble...we'll see $5 gasoline before the end of the year. Oil hasn't finished its run up to $150 yet.

Because we have been diligently rebuilding the Iraqi energy infrastructure and protecting their pipelines they are now back to pre-invasion production. They may have the capacity to pump even more oil - have you any numbers to substantiate your claims that they are above pre-invasion levels?
The only reason the US has yet to see a dime of Iraqi oil, is because if we started to take any of the oil or revenues, the Bush Administration would be further accused of war for oil....Never mind that a tyrant and mass murderer like Hitler was removed, who did in fact HAVE WMD and did in FACT use them on 100's of thousands of innocent Kurdish Iraqi people..Remember folks, France and the rest of Europe didn't get back to prewar normals for many years after the defeat of Germany....Just because the internet is fast and that is our way of life now..nanoseconds..doesn't mean rebuilding a war torn, self desimated country and region is gonna be healed over night by a click of a mouse button...Get real
Sounds a little on the conspiracy theorist way of seeing things, if ya ask me...Back around the middle of the last century the big oil companies in the US, with the collusion of government, set out to intentionally destroy the public transport system in the US, in order to force the population to use automobiles more and thus burn more gas netting more profits for oil companies, and they were largely successful in achieving this objective. For the same reason they also encouraged massive urban sprawl and the development of suburbia, so that millions of people have to drive huge distances to get to work -

Not a big deal..this week is gonna be all over the place, but eventually hit a pretty substantial bottom to buy in at...maybe next Monday I'll be locked and loaded in C & S....Oil took a $2.00 hit like I thought it would and naturally the market rallied a bit...I don't expect it to last the week...
