S fund has been under 50 dma for 2 days and looks to have a third. I have a warning flag there. Looks like I'll be selling my S fund today but keeping my C fund. I only have IFTs left to get out to G fund.If I had more IFTs I'd go 100% C. C fund failed at the old high which isn't great but not unexpected and still well above the 50 dma

I fund is iffy too being just at its 50 dma after climbing back above. It needs to bounce here.

Warning flags all over! But we're still in a bull market and my system will keep me in stocks at 50%. C fund looks the best right now but thats not saying much. All 3 are below the 50 dma.

I'll be looking for one of the funds to go under RSI of 30 to buy. That could be a while.
Or perhaps we'll get some earnings to pump up the indexes.

The C fund touched the 50 dma yesterday and bounced a little. Today looks to continue that bounce. That is part of a buy signal but the other one is an RSI below 30. So, I'm still cautious.

C fund still looks a little iffy. S fund is in a downtrend and confirmed it today. So, all in all, still cautious

C fund held the test of its 50dma from above and therefore I have a buy signal. S fund is still below its 50 dma. I fund looks ok but with currency headwind I'm staying clear for now.

Looks like a head fake on C fund. Sucked me in. Jumped too early.
Need a bounce soon or I'll have to sell 50%

Market looks like it's setting on the panic sell/oversold bounce fence right now at 12:50 pm eastern time. Brave people that jumped into the S Fund at today's closing price. As former military, I only had 8 years to contribute to TSP and been playing with the same hand for 5 years. I can't take those risks at my age.

Hi. One thing I do is compare the price lows of the day to others given the same fund. For example if I fund came in at 21.00 then I trace back through the month/days until I see something consistently as low. Most times only when it is greater then 3 or 4 months back, then I'll jump back in. That way there is a sure bet that any increase even a small one will net a percentage gain. Second part is to only try to get 3% gain each month until the end of the year. By year's end it is pretty likely that it will result in at least 25% gain for the year.

What online tools or web pages do you use to do this? Thanks.
