Dammit ... Intrepid has pole-vaulted ahead of me! ( good job, Intrepid! )
Yesterday's ( 7/27 ) Market Action caused the S-Fund chart to generate an ALERT signal today. However, it's unlikely that any market action today could turn that ALERT into a SELL. But I'll keep a close eye ...

My Charts are continuing to show an ALERT status for the S-fund ... it's been showing that for quite a few days now. The S-fund has been waffling over the past few days but there still seems to be some slight upward pressure. So I'm watching ... and staying the course. A very strong down day today will trigger a SELL status but given what I'm seeing in the market today, I don't think that is going to happen.

I was updating my charts for today when I noticed the steep decline in the market today. This looked scary, so I decided to use the predictive aspect of my charts to tell me whether I should get out of the S fund today. Good news : it's going to take a HUGE loss today, on the order of 7% or more, for my charts to generate a sell signal. Is that realistic? I don't know - but the chart says to stay in the S fund, so that's what I'm doing. I'll have to examine the charts over the weekend for errors - but for now, even though it looks scary, my charts suggest you should "stay the course."

The charts are generating a buy order for today ( 9/22 ). I realize this info is coming out late, sorry ... but I will be in the S-fund by COB on 9/23.

Yesterday's Market Action caused the S-fund to give an ALERT signal for today. Good news, however - it's going to require a SIGNIFICANT downturn to generate a SELL signal today.
So ... it looks bumpy ... but my charts are suggesting we ride it out for now.
